# Teach Hero_Agent your brand

Give Hero_Agent your website, a brand document or a few answers. It keeps a brand kit (logo, colors, fonts), a brand voice and a list of facts about your business, and uses them in every draft and Hero_Photo image.

**Where:** Home → **Workspace intelligence**, and Hero_Photo → **＋ Train a subject** → **Brand**.

## What Hero_Agent keeps about your business

Each workspace has three things Hero_Agent uses every time it writes or makes a picture:

| What | What's in it | Who can change it |
|---|---|---|
| **Facts about your business** | Brand, offer, audience, voice, content pillars, best formats, goals, competitors, posting times, language, call to action and don'ts | The owner, Admins and Editors. Viewers can read them. |
| **Brand voice** | How you sound, in your own words, for example "warm, local and a little playful; short sentences, no emojis" | Through Hero_Agent |
| **Brand kit** | Your logo, colors (the first is your primary, the second your accent, the third your neutral), heading and body fonts, plus brand photos and look words in Hero_Photo | The owner and Admins |

Your brand voice and saved facts are part of every conversation. Hero_Agent is built to write from these facts and your Heropost data, and to ask when something is missing rather than invent it. Check drafts before you approve them all the same.

Saving facts, brand voice and the brand kit is free: it uses no actions.

## Import your brand from your website

The fastest way in. Owners and Admins can do it in Hero_Agent's first-time setup.

1. On Home, at **How do you want to work with me?**, choose **Create together**, tick what you want to make, then press **Continue**.
2. Press **Bring in your brand from your website**.
3. Type your address (for example yourwebsite.com) and press **Import**. Hero_Agent shows "Reading {site}…".
4. Check the **Brand kit** card: your logo, **Colours**, **Fonts**, and the rows **What you do**, **Voice** and **Audience**. Tap a row to correct it, then press **Save**.
5. Press **Looks right**. Hero_Agent answers "Saved to your brand kit."

What **Looks right** saves:

- **The logo** goes into your Media Library and your brand kit.
- **Colors and fonts** from the site go to the front of your brand kit. Colors and fonts you already had stay after them.
- **Brand voice** is filled in only if it was empty. An existing voice isn't replaced.
- **What you do, your voice, your audience and your website** are saved as facts.

Skipped the setup? Type **set me up** in the chat box to see the first question again (owners and Admins).

**No website?** Under the address box, choose **Answer 5 quick questions**, or **Upload a .md file**.

## Answer a few questions

1. On Home, in **Workspace intelligence**, press **Give it more information**.
2. Hero_Agent shows **What I know about your business**. Tap a row to correct it, then **Save**.
3. It asks about what's missing, one question at a time. Tap an answer, or **Something else…** to type your own.

Each answer is saved as you go.

## Upload a brand document

Have a brand document from ChatGPT, Claude or Notion? Save it as .md and upload it.

1. In **Workspace intelligence**, press **Upload a .md file**. You can also attach a .md, .markdown or .txt file with the paperclip.
2. With an empty chat box, Hero_Agent fills in "Here's a document about my business — learn from it and save what matters." Send it.
3. Hero_Agent saves what matters as facts. Check them in **Workspace intelligence**.

- **Limits:** up to 3 documents per message, 200 KB each. Hero_Agent reads the first 20,000 characters of each.
- **It's read as information, not instructions.** Hero_Agent learns facts from a document; it doesn't follow orders written inside it.

## Tell it in the chat

Say it the way you'd tell a new team member:

- "Remember that we're closed on Mondays and our best seller is the almond croissant."
- "Set our brand voice to warm, local and a little playful; short sentences, no emojis."
- "Replace what you saved about our audience with: first-time home buyers in Austin."
- "Forget what you saved about competitors."
- "Add #1A73E8 to our brand colors."

A brand voice can be up to 4,000 characters. Saving it replaces the old one, so ask Hero_Agent to keep what still applies.

**Sometimes it asks first.** If the conversation has already read outside content, such as inbox messages or post captions, Hero_Agent asks for your approval before it saves facts, brand voice or brand kit. That stops a stranger's comment from changing what Heropost knows about you.
## See and fix what it knows

- **Workspace intelligence** on Home shows up to five saved facts, in this order: Brand, Offer, Audience, Voice, Content pillars, Best formats, Goals, Competitors, Posting times, Language, CTA, Don'ts. Under them: "{N} facts saved about your business — tap one to correct it."
- **Tap a fact** to correct it. The chat box fills in "Update my workspace knowledge — {Label}: ". Type the new value and send.
- **See all of them:** ask "What does Heropost know about my business?", or press **Give it more information**.

On a phone, **Workspace intelligence** is in the **Workspace** sheet: tap the line under the greeting.

## Your brand kit in Hero_Photo

The full brand kit editor is in Hero_Photo, on a computer or tablet.

1. Open **Hero_Photo** and press **＋ Train a subject** → **Brand**. Or click the **Brand** chip under **Subject**, then **Edit brand kit**.
2. Type your website and press **Import**. Heropost fills in your logo, colors and fonts for you to check. Nothing is saved yet, and changes you've made yourself are kept.
3. **Logo:** upload or replace it.
4. **Colours:** add up to 8. The order matters: the first is your primary, the second your accent, the third your neutral.
5. **Fonts:** choose **Headings** and **Body** from Google Fonts. Search by name, or paste a Google Fonts link.
6. **Brand photos · look:** add 5 to 20 on-brand photos and pick look words: Bold, Modern, Warm, Minimal, Playful, Luxury, Natural.
7. Press **Save brand kit**. Heropost confirms "Brand kit saved — Hero_Agent uses it everywhere".

[Screenshot: The Brand kit dialog in Hero_Photo after importing a website]

- Saving replaces the kit's colors and its heading and body fonts with what's on screen.
- Your brand photos and look words become the **Brand** subject: pick **Brand** under **Subject** and Hero_Photo uses them as a style reference.

### How the brand kit shows up in pictures

- **AI images** use your saved colors in order and your heading and body fonts wherever a preset has brand-colored text or backgrounds.
- **Your logo** isn't drawn into AI images. Layout presets place your real logo, untouched.
- **Repurpose** with **Keep brand kit** on keeps logos and text whole in every size.

## Several brands

Each workspace has its own facts, brand voice and brand kit. Create one workspace per brand or client, then teach Hero_Agent about each one on that workspace's Home. See [Workspaces](/docs/social-accounts/workspaces/).

## If it doesn't work

| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| "I couldn’t read {site} just now." | Hero_Agent couldn't open your website during setup. | Try again, fill in the rows yourself, or use **Answer 5 quick questions**. |
| "Type your website's address, e.g. yourbrand.com" | The address box is empty or isn't a web address. | Type the address without spaces. |
| "Couldn’t read that site — check the address, or fill it in below." | Hero_Photo's import couldn't open the site. | Check the address, or fill in the kit by hand. |
| "That site took too long to answer — try again, or fill it in below." | The site was too slow. | Try again, or fill it in by hand. |
| "We couldn't find a logo, colours or fonts on that site — fill them in below." | Nothing usable was on the page. | Upload your logo and add colors and fonts by hand. |
| "Imported from {site}. {font} isn’t on Google Fonts — pick the closest one below." | Your site uses a font Hero_Photo can't load. | Pick the closest Google Font. |
| "That document is over 200 KB — trim it to the parts about your business and try again." | The document is too big. | Keep the parts about your business, then upload again. |
| "Up to 3 documents per message — send the others in a follow-up." | More than 3 documents attached. | Send the rest in the next message. |
| "\"{name}\" was shortened to the first 20,000 characters — send the rest in a second message if it matters." | Only the start of a long document was read. | Send the rest as a second document. |
| "Only the workspace owner or an admin can perform this action." | Editors and Viewers can't change the brand kit. | Ask the owner or an Admin. |
| Hero_Agent says the owner, an Admin or an Editor has to add a fact | Viewers can read facts but not save them. | Ask a teammate with a higher role. |

## Questions

**Hero_Agent has the wrong information about my business. How do I fix it?**

Tap the fact in **Workspace intelligence** and type the correction, or tell Hero_Agent what to replace, for example "Replace what you saved about our offer with: …". It's free.

**Will importing my website overwrite my brand voice?**

No. The setup fills in the brand voice only when it's empty. Colors and fonts from the site are added in front of the ones you have.

**Does Hero_Agent learn from comments and messages it reads?**

It reads them to answer you, but it's built not to save what other people wrote as facts about your business. Facts come from what you type and the documents you attach. Once a conversation has read outside content, Hero_Agent also asks for your approval before it saves facts, brand voice or brand kit.

**Does teaching Hero_Agent use actions?**

No. Saving facts, brand voice and the brand kit is free. Each message you send counts as one Hero_Agent chat message.

**Can I edit the brand kit on my phone?**

No. The **Brand** subject and the brand kit editor are on a computer or tablet. On a phone you can still correct facts in **Workspace intelligence** or tell Hero_Agent in the chat.
