# Quickstart: let Hero_Agent plan your first week

Teach Hero_Agent your brand, ask it for a week of posts, check the plan and what it costs, then approve the schedule. Nothing goes out until you press Approve.

## How it works

Hero_Agent is the chat on **Home**. You tell it what you want; it plans the posts, writes them as drafts and asks before it schedules anything. Each post it creates, and each inbox reply it sends, uses one AI action from your monthly allowance. Reading, editing, scheduling and publishing are free, and so is writing copy in the chat.

This guide takes about ten minutes: teach Hero_Agent your brand, ask for a week of posts, check the plan, then approve the schedule.

## Before you start

- **Connect your accounts.** Hero_Agent posts only to the accounts in the current workspace. See [Connect an account and schedule your first post](/docs/getting-started/quickstart/).
- **Check your allowance.** On Home, the **Actions** row of **Workspace intelligence** reads "N of M AI actions used this month." Every plan includes 30 AI actions, 300 Hero_Agent messages and 3 connected AI tools a month, plus 10 Hero_Photo credits once, the free trial too. The Growth, Pro and Agency plans include 2,000, 10,000 and unlimited (fair use) actions a month.
- **Be the owner or an Admin** to set Hero_Agent up and approve scheduling. If you're an Editor, see [Who can do what](#who-can-do-what).

## 1. Teach it your brand

The first time the workspace owner or an Admin opens Home, Hero_Agent asks **How do you want to work with me?**

1. Choose **Create together**.
2. Tick what you want to make first, for example **Social posts**, then press **Continue**.
3. Under "Got it. Here’s where I’d start:", press **Bring in your brand from your website**.
4. Type your website address and press **Import**. Hero_Agent reads the site.
5. Check the **Brand kit** card: your logo, **Colours** and **Fonts**, and the rows **What you do**, **Voice** and **Audience**. Tap a row to fix it.
6. Press **Looks right**. Hero_Agent answers "Saved to your brand kit."

- **No website?** Under the address box, choose **Answer 5 quick questions**, or **Upload a .md file** with a brand document from ChatGPT, Claude or Notion.
- **Skipped the setup?** In the **Workspace intelligence** panel, press **Give it more information**. Hero_Agent shows what it already knows and asks one question at a time.
- **Fix a fact later.** Saved facts are listed in **Workspace intelligence**. Tap one to correct it. Saving facts about your business uses no actions.

## 2. Ask for the week

Two starters on Home write a week for you:

| **Create posts in bulk** | Opens a setup card where you choose the accounts, dates, number of posts, themes and pictures. It shows the action cost before anything is written. | Your first week |
| **Fill my empty days this week** | Hero_Agent reads your calendar and drafts posts for the empty days, based on what has worked before. | Topping up a week later on |

1. On Home, click **Create posts in bulk**. The **Set up your batch** card opens under the chat box.
2. **Accounts:** check which accounts are ticked, and untick any you don't want in this batch.
3. **Period:** choose **This week**. It starts tomorrow. Then choose **Weekdays** or **Every day**.
4. **Cadence:** **1 per account a day** gives each account one post a day.
5. **Themes:** what to post about, for example "product tips, customer stories, behind the scenes". Leave it empty and Hero_Agent picks from your brand and what has worked.
6. **Media:** how the posts get pictures (see the table below).
7. Read the estimate under the card, for example "≈ 10 posts · 10 actions to create (scheduling is free) — you have 30 left this month."
8. Press **Build my plan**.

| Media choice | What happens |
|---|---|
| **Create images with Hero_Photo** | Hero_Photo makes one image per post, up to 10 in one batch. A photo uses 2 photo credits, a text graphic 1. Posts beyond the first 10 start without media. |
| **Add later in the editor** | Posts are created without media. You add it in the post editor. |
| **I'll drop media now** | You drop your own photos or videos into the chat when you say go. |
| **Use my media library** | Hero_Agent picks images from your Media Library. |
| **Text-only platforms** | Instagram and TikTok are left out. |

**On a small allowance, size the batch first.** Every post uses one action, so 2 accounts × 5 weekdays × 1 post a day is 10 posts and 10 actions. Every plan includes 30 AI actions a month, plus 10 Hero_Photo credits once: enough for about 5 photos. Untick accounts or pick fewer days to stay inside them.
Have your own list of posts? Press **Have your own file? Upload a CSV**, or paste rows copied from a spreadsheet into the chat. Hero_Agent reads up to 200 rows per message.

## 3. Check the plan, then say go

Hero_Agent replies with a plan: one row per post with its day, time, account and idea, then the totals and the action cost. Nothing has been created yet.

- **Change anything in plain words:** "Move Tuesday's post to 9 AM", "Make them more playful", "Leave LinkedIn out".
- **When it looks right, reply "go".** Hero_Agent writes the posts and saves them as drafts.

When it's done, a **Drafts created · N** card lists each post with its networks and time, and any warning. For five posts or fewer, Hero_Agent may skip the plan and draft them straight away.

Times are in the workspace's time zone.

## 4. Review the drafts

- **See them all:** press **Review in Drafts**. They're under **Content → Drafts**.
- **Ask for changes in the chat:** "Rewrite post 3 with a question at the end". Editing is free.
- **Edit one yourself:** open it from Drafts, or press **Open in editor** on its card.
- **Check the pictures.** Instagram needs a photo or video; TikTok and YouTube need a video.

Drafts don't appear on the calendar. They show there once they're scheduled.

## 5. Approve the schedule

1. On the **Drafts created** card, press **Schedule all N**.
2. A **Waiting for your approval** card shows the posts, their times and the cost: **free**.
3. Press **Approve**. (**Deny** cancels.)
4. A **Scheduled · N** card confirms it. A post that couldn't be scheduled shows as "Post #{id} — not scheduled", with the reason.
5. Press **Open calendar** to see your week.

**Answer the approval card before you type again.** Sending a new message while a card is waiting cancels it, and you'll need to ask again.
A single post has its own buttons on its card: **Schedule**, **Change time**, **Edit copy**, **Publish now** and **Open in editor**. Scheduling and publishing from there also ask for approval.

## 6. During the week

- **"What were the main insights from last week?"** Hero_Agent reads your analytics for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Threads and suggests what to do next.
- **"Draft replies to my waiting messages."** Each reply card has a suggested reply you can edit. **Send reply** asks for approval first.
- **Next week:** press **Fill my empty days this week**.
- **Start a new conversation** for a new task: the clock icon at the top left opens your conversations, and **＋** starts a new one. Your conversations are private: teammates don't see them.

- **Pictures** from Hero_Photo use photo credits instead of actions.
- **Every message you send** counts toward your monthly Hero_Agent messages: 300 on every plan, 800 on Growth, 1,500 on Pro and unlimited on Agency.
- **Allowances reset** at the start of each calendar month (UTC). Nothing is charged when you reach a limit: the action isn't carried out.

## Who can do what

## If it doesn't work

| What you see | What it means | What to do |

| "This batch needs more actions than you have left this month." on the setup card | The batch is bigger than what's left. | Untick accounts, choose fewer days, or press **See plans**. |

## Questions

**Will Hero_Agent post anything without asking me?**

No. It saves drafts on its own, but every schedule, publish, inbox reply and delete shows a **Waiting for your approval** card first. The line under the chat box says it: "Hero_Agent acts only with your approval".


**Can I use Hero_Agent for several brands?**

Yes. Hero_Agent works per workspace: create one workspace per brand, connect its accounts, then teach Hero_Agent about that business on its Home. Your monthly actions and photo credits are shared by all your workspaces.


**Hero_Agent has the wrong information about my business. How do I fix it?**

On Home, tap the fact in **Workspace intelligence** to correct it, or tell Hero_Agent what to replace, for example "Replace what you saved about our audience with: …". It doesn't use actions.


**Does Hero_Agent know what worked before?**

It reads your analytics for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Threads. With little posting history, it says so and uses sensible defaults, such as one post per network each weekday.


**Can I use ChatGPT or Claude instead?**
