# What is Heropost? Heropost is a social media scheduler with AI built in. You plan, write and schedule posts for 12 networks, and Hero_Agent, Hero_Photo and your own AI tools can do much of the work with you. You connect your social accounts once, then write a post, preview it for each network and schedule it, or publish it right away. Everything you schedule shows on a calendar, and Heropost publishes it at the time you set. On top of the scheduler sit three AI helpers. **Hero_Agent** plans, writes and schedules posts with you on the Home page. **Hero_Photo** makes product photos, graphics and short videos for your posts. And if you already use ChatGPT, Claude or another AI tool, you can connect it to Heropost and work from there. Every plan includes all of it. See [Networks at a glance](/docs/social-accounts/networks-at-a-glance/) for what you can post where. ## Hero_Agent Hero_Agent is the chat on **Home**, the page you land on when you sign in. Ask it in plain words to write a post, fill the empty days in your week, explain last week's results or draft replies to waiting messages. It works with your real accounts, calendar and analytics, and it remembers facts about your business so every draft sounds like you. It asks before anything goes out. Hero_Agent saves drafts on its own, but scheduling, publishing, sending an inbox reply and deleting always show a **Waiting for your approval** card first, with **Approve** and **Deny**. The line under the chat box says it: "Hero_Agent acts only with your approval". Describe a shot or pick one of its presets, and it makes product photos, headshots, text graphics, short videos and resized versions for each network, using your own products, people and brand kit. A result goes straight into a post. Hero_Photo runs on photo credits: see [Hero_Photo](/docs/ai/hero-photo/). ## Your AI tools If you already work in ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, VS Code, n8n or another tool that supports MCP, you can connect it to Heropost from **Home → Connect your AI tools**. The tool then works with the same accounts, posts and plan as Hero_Agent. Workspace owners and Admins set this up. See [Use Heropost from your AI tools](/docs/ai-tools/overview/). ## How your work is organized - **Workspaces** keep each brand or client separate, with its own social accounts, posts, calendar and time zone. Your first one, **My Workspace**, is created for you. See [Workspaces](/docs/social-accounts/workspaces/). - **Social accounts** are the Pages, profiles, channels and boards you connect to a workspace. See [Key terms](/docs/getting-started/key-terms/). ## What it costs Every plan includes the whole scheduler, Hero_Agent, Hero_Photo and your AI tools. Plans differ in size: accounts, workspaces, people and how much AI you can use each month. - **AI for writing is unlimited.** The unlimited AI in a plan is the AI for writing: captions, hashtags and rewriting posts in the post editor. It uses no actions. - **Hero_Agent, Hero_Photo and your AI tools run on a monthly allowance,** because every task they do uses AI that costs money each time. Every plan includes 30 AI actions, 300 Hero_Agent messages and 3 connected AI tools a month, plus 10 Hero_Photo credits once. The Growth, Pro and Agency plans include more. - **An action is a created post or a sent inbox reply.** Reading, editing, scheduling and publishing are free. See [Use Heropost on a phone](/docs/getting-started/phones-and-browsers/). - **No personal Facebook profiles or Facebook Groups.** Facebook only lets apps publish to Pages. - **It can't lift a network's own limits.** Each network limits how often an account can post, and Heropost holds an account that a network is limiting. If you already use ChatGPT, Claude or another AI tool, you can connect it too. **Will Hero_Agent post without asking me?** No. In the chat on Home, Hero_Agent can save drafts on its own, but every schedule, publish, inbox reply and delete waits for you to press **Approve**. A connected AI tool follows the permissions you give it: switch off its **Publish and schedule** permission and everything it writes waits as a draft. **Can I still do everything by hand?** Yes. The AI is optional. The post editor, calendar, automations and every other scheduler feature work without it. **Can I manage several brands or clients?** Yes. Create a workspace for each brand or client. Each one has its own accounts, posts and calendar, and Hero_Agent learns each business separately. How many workspaces you can have depends on your plan.
