Data Deletion Instructions

Heropost Media Ltd. ("us", "we", or "our") operates Heropost (the "Service"). This page explains how to delete your Heropost account and any data we have received from social platforms you connected, including Facebook and Instagram.

Delete your Heropost account

Deleting your account removes your profile, your posts and scheduled content, your connected social accounts, and their access tokens.

  1. Log in to Heropost at app.heropost.io.
  2. Open Settings from your account menu.
  3. Select Delete account and confirm.

If you cannot access your account, email support@heropost.ai from the address registered to the account and request deletion. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion.

Delete Facebook and Instagram data

You can remove the data we received from Meta platforms in either of the following ways:

  • Disconnect the account in Heropost — go to your connected accounts, remove the Facebook or Instagram account, and we delete its access tokens and stop collecting data from that platform.
  • Remove Heropost from Facebook — go to Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, select Heropost, and choose Remove. This revokes our access immediately.
  • Email us — send a deletion request to support@heropost.ai and we will delete the data we hold from those platforms.

Delete data from other connected platforms

Disconnecting any social account inside Heropost deletes its stored access tokens and stops further data collection. For Google and YouTube, you may additionally revoke access from the Google security settings page.

What happens after a deletion request

Access tokens for a disconnected social account are deleted immediately. When an account is deleted, the associated Personal Data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records by law (for example, billing records).
