What a lifetime plan is#
Lifetime covers the scheduler — yours for life, with every scheduler update. Anything that runs on live AI usage is separate.
You pay once and the plan never renews. The Terms of Service put it this way: "Lifetime Plans do not renew, do not recur, and carry no ongoing billing of any kind."
The lifetime plans#
| Lifetime Starter | Lifetime Agency | |
|---|---|---|

| Price | $497 one payment | $997 one payment |
| Social accounts | 12 | Unlimited* |
| Workspaces | 2 | Unlimited* |
| Automations | 5 | Unlimited |
| People | 1 user | Unlimited team + approvals |
| Link-in-bio pages | 2 | Unlimited |
| AI captions & hashtags | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Social Inbox, grid planner, full analytics | Yes | Yes |
| Scheduler updates | Every scheduler update | Every scheduler update |
| AI each month | AI credits included every month | AI credits included every month |
| Full AI plans | At member prices: $19 / $33 / $66 | At member prices: $19 / $33 / $66 |
*Fair use: built for one business or agency and its own clients. Above 500 accounts or 50 workspaces we'll check in with you — never a surprise block. Each network's own limits still apply.
Both lifetime payments come with a 30-day money-back guarantee, counted from the day you pay. See Refunds and the money-back guarantee.
AI with a lifetime plan#
Every lifetime member gets an included allocation of AI credits: 30 AI actions, 300 Hero_Agent messages and 3 connected AI tools a month, plus 10 Hero_Photo credits once. An action is a created post or a sent inbox reply; reading, editing, scheduling and publishing are free.
AI captions and hashtags in the post editor are unlimited: they're the AI for writing. Hero_Agent and AI-tool connections run on monthly credits, because every task uses AI that costs money each time.
For more AI, add one of the full AI plans at the member price:
| AI plan | Member price | Everyone else |
|---|---|---|
| Growth | $19 a month | $29 a month |
| Pro | $33 a month | $49 a month |
| Agency | $66 a month | $99 a month |
Member prices are for Lifetime Starter, Growth and Agency holders. Older lifetime deals pay the standard prices.
When you add an AI plan you lose nothing: you keep whichever is bigger — your lifetime tier or the plan — feature by feature. If you later stop paying for the AI, you keep your scheduler and your monthly AI credits.
- Click your name at the bottom of the left menu, then Billing.
- In the Plans section, each card shows your member price with a line such as "Lifetime-holder price — normally $29/month."
- Press Get Growth, Get Pro or Get Agency and pay on the secure payment page.
More on the AI allowance: AI plans and your monthly AI allowance.
What you pay for separately#
On every plan, lifetime included:
- AI plans, if you want more than the included monthly AI credits.
- Hero_Photo credit packs, which you can buy while you have an AI plan.
- X credits for posting to X: one credit publishes one post. See X credits.
Buy a lifetime plan#
- On heropost.ai/lifetime, press Get Lifetime Starter or Get Lifetime Agency.
- Log in to your Heropost account, or create one. Lifetime is added to the account you're logged in to, and your social accounts, posts and settings stay exactly as they are.
- On Pay once. Post forever., press the button on the plan you want (Get Starter or Get Agency).
- Pay on the secure payment page.
- On Thank you for your payment!, press Proceed. Heropost reloads with your plan.
Paying monthly or yearly already? Contact support before you buy. Buying lifetime doesn't cancel a subscription you already have, and while one is active the lifetime checkout shows "Looks like you already have a subscription. Please visit your billing or contact support for more details." We'll help you switch.
How Billing shows a lifetime plan#
On your Billing page, the top card shows the plan name with a LIFETIME tag (Starter or Agency) and "One payment · yours forever". If you still have an older subscription on the same account, Billing shows it as one line underneath:
- "Your earlier {plan} subscription ({price}) ends on {date} and will not be charged again. Your {plan} plan stays." The subscription is ending and won't renew.
- "You also have a {plan} subscription: {price}, renews {date}." The subscription is still active. To stop it, see Cancel a subscription.
Move up a lifetime tier#
If you have Lifetime Starter (or Lifetime Growth), you can move up with a one-time payment. Upgrade offers are at member prices, not the public prices.
- Click your name at the bottom of the left menu, then Billing.
- Under Upgrade your lifetime deal, press View upgrade offers →. (The Upgrade your lifetime plan card in the left menu leads to the same page.)
- The page reads Upgrade your lifetime plan — "Move up to a higher lifetime tier. One payment — yours forever." Choose the plan and pay once.
Older lifetime deals#
If you bought an earlier lifetime deal, your plan stays exactly as it is, and you get the monthly AI credits too. Some older deals don't include every network or every scheduler feature. When you try something your plan doesn't include, Heropost shows Time to Level up! with an Upgrade button.
Questions#
What does "lifetime" mean?
From the Terms: "'Lifetime' means the lifetime of the Service — for as long as Heropost operates and makes the Service commercially available — not the lifetime of the purchaser."
Will I be charged again?
Not for the lifetime plan. You're only charged for things you add yourself: an AI plan, Hero_Photo credit packs or X credit packs.
Do lifetime plans get new features?
Your tier gets every scheduler update. AI features run on live usage, so they're separate: your lifetime plan includes the monthly AI credits, and the full AI plans are monthly.
I bought lifetime, but Billing still shows my old subscription.
Refresh the page, or sign out and back in once. Billing leads with the plan you own, tagged LIFETIME, and lists the subscription as a line underneath. If Billing shows no lifetime plan at all, contact support with the email you paid with and your receipt.
Can I give my lifetime plan to someone else?
No. From the Terms: "Lifetime Plans are non-transferable and may not be resold, gifted, or reassigned to another person or entity without Heropost's written consent." If you have two Heropost logins yourself and want the plan on the other one, contact support.
Checkout says "The selected price is only available to lifetime deal customers."
You chose a member price, and the account you're logged in to doesn't hold Lifetime Starter, Growth or Agency. Log in to the account that holds your lifetime plan, or choose the standard price.
