How refunds work#
Refunds follow our Terms of Service. This page quotes the parts that cover refunds. The Terms are the full and current wording.
Lifetime plans: 30-day money-back guarantee#
Every lifetime payment comes with a "30-day money-back guarantee on your lifetime payment", counted from the day you pay. From the Terms, section Lifetime Plans:
"Notwithstanding anything else in these Terms, Lifetime Plans include a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason, contact us within 30 days of the date of payment and we will refund your Lifetime Plan purchase in full. The guarantee period runs from the date of payment, including where the purchase follows a free trial. The guarantee covers the Lifetime Plan payment itself; AI plans, credit packs and other separate purchases are covered by Cancellation and Termination of Services. The guarantee is limited to one refund per customer, and Heropost may decline a refund where the guarantee is being abused — for example, repeated purchase-and-refund cycles or purchases made primarily to extract short-term usage of the Service. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable statutory rights that may apply in your jurisdiction."
Subscriptions, AI plans and credit packs#
From the Terms, section Cancellation and Termination of Services:
"You may cancel or downgrade Services plan at any time by following outlined steps."
"If you cancel (or downgrade) paid Services, you are not entitled to refund."
"Certain refund requests for Subscriptions within 3 days may be considered by Heropost on case-by-case basis in Heropost's sole discretion, provided no AI usage (as defined below) has taken place in that billing period."
"AI usage is non-refundable. “AI usage” means using Hero_Agent (its actions or chat), using Hero_Photo credits, or requests made to the Service by a connected AI tool. These incur usage costs the moment they are used. Once any AI usage has taken place in a billing period, the fees for that billing period are non-refundable. Hero_Photo credit packs are non-refundable once any of their credits have been used. The AI captions and hashtags included in every plan are not AI usage for this purpose."
In short, AI usage means:

Ask for a refund#
- Email support@heropost.ai from the email address on your Heropost account, or write to us in the support chat in Heropost.
- Say which purchase it's about: the plan or pack, and the date you paid.
- We'll reply by email.
For the lifetime guarantee, contact us within 30 days of the date of payment.
Questions#
I canceled my subscription. Do I get money back for the rest of the period?
The Terms say: "If you cancel (or downgrade) paid Services, you are not entitled to refund." Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for. See Cancel a subscription.
Does writing captions with AI count as AI usage?
No. "The AI captions and hashtags included in every plan are not AI usage for this purpose."
I bought lifetime after my free trial. When does the 30 days start?
On the day you pay. "The guarantee period runs from the date of payment, including where the purchase follows a free trial."
Does the lifetime guarantee cover my AI plan or credit packs?
No. "The guarantee covers the Lifetime Plan payment itself; AI plans, credit packs and other separate purchases are covered by Cancellation and Termination of Services."
What if Heropost ends my access?
From the Terms: "If Heropost terminates this Agreement because you violated Acceptable Use Rules or other Agreement parts, you will not receive refund. If Heropost terminates access under this section for no reason, Heropost will refund for Services not yet received."
