Open the billing portal#
Heropost's payments are handled by Stripe. Your invoices and card live in Stripe's secure billing portal, which you open from Heropost.
- Click your name at the bottom of the left menu, then Billing.
- At the bottom of the page, press Invoices & payment methods.
- The billing portal opens in a new tab.
The link appears once you've bought something. If nothing opens, your browser may be blocking pop-ups: allow them for app.heropost.io and press the link again. If the portal asks you to sign in, use the email address you paid with.
What you can do in the portal#
With one subscription on your account, the portal lets you:
- see and download your invoices;
- update your card;
- update your billing details;
- cancel your plan, or move up to a bigger plan.
The email address can't be changed in the portal. To change it, contact support.
Payment methods#
- Heropost takes credit and debit cards. The Terms say: "A valid payment method (credit or debit card) is required."
- Prices are in US dollars.
- Taxes: "You are responsible for paying all taxes on all fees paid to Heropost. Local taxes may differ based on payment method."
Invoices for one-time purchases#
Lifetime plans, X credit packs and Hero_Photo credit packs are one-time payments, and each one has an invoice too. If you can't find one in the portal, contact support with the email you paid with and the date of the purchase.
Questions#
Can I pay by bank transfer or PayPal?
No. Checkout takes credit and debit cards.
My card expired. How do I avoid a failed payment?
Update the card under Billing → Invoices & payment methods before your next renewal date (shown on the plan card as "Renews {date}"). If a payment has already failed, see If a payment fails.
Can I put my company name and address on invoices?
Update your billing details in the portal before the next invoice is created. If the detail you need can't be edited there, contact support.

Invoices belong to the login that paid. The person who pays opens Invoices & payment methods and downloads them.
