Limits on each plan#
| Plan | Social accounts | Workspaces |

| Pro | 70 | 7 |
| Agency | Unlimited* | Unlimited* |
| Lifetime Starter | 12 | 2 |
| Lifetime Agency | Unlimited* | Unlimited* |
*Fair use: built for one business or agency and its own clients. Above 500 accounts or 50 workspaces we'll check in with you — never a surprise block. Each network's own limits still apply.
Prices and everything else each plan includes are on heropost.ai/pricing and heropost.ai/lifetime. During the free trial there's no limit on accounts or workspaces; the plan you choose sets them afterwards.
On an older plan? Your limits are shown on your Billing page (see below).
How Heropost counts#
Social accounts
- Every connected Page, profile, channel, board, location, subreddit or chat is one account. Each Pinterest board you add is one account.
- An account counts once per workspace. The same Facebook Page in two workspaces counts as two.
- All the accounts in all the workspaces you own count, whoever connected them: you, your Admins, or a client through an invite link.
- A Facebook Page and the Instagram account linked to it are two accounts if you add both.
- Removed accounts don't count.
Workspaces
- Only workspaces you own count. Workspaces you've been invited into belong to their owners.
- Your first workspace is always allowed.
Whose plan applies. Limits always come from the workspace owner's plan. When you work in someone else's workspace, their plan's limits apply, not yours.
When it's checked. Heropost checks the limit when you connect an account or create a workspace.
See your usage#
Click your name at the bottom of the left menu, then Billing. Under Usage, the Social accounts and Workspaces meters show how many you use and your plan's limit (or Unlimited).
At the limit#
Accounts. When you try to connect one more account than your plan allows, you sign in to the network as usual, but the account isn't added and Heropost shows "Looks like you've reached the limit of your plan. Please upgrade your account to access for features."
Workspaces. Creating one more workspace than your plan allows shows the same message, and the Create Workspace window stays open.
What you can do:
- Remove accounts you don't use, or delete a workspace you no longer need.
- Move to a bigger plan: see Upgrade or change your plan.
X, TikTok, Google Business Profile, Threads and Bluesky#
These five are Heropost's premium networks.
- On the plans sold today, they count like any other account.
- X uses X credits on every plan, because X charges for each post published through its API. A new X account can only be connected once you have X credits. See X credits.
- The original Lifetime plan can't connect them. Choosing one of these networks opens Time to Level up! with an Upgrade button. See Lifetime plans explained.
- Some older plans have a separate, smaller allowance for these five networks. When it's used up, Heropost shows the plan-limit message above.
If it doesn't work#
| Message | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| "Looks like you've reached the limit of your plan. Please upgrade your account to access for features." | The workspace owner's plan has no room for another account or workspace. | Remove an account or workspace, or upgrade. |
| "Your account doesn't have an active plan. Please upgrade to use this feature." | The workspace owner has no active plan. | The owner chooses a plan: click your name at the bottom of the left menu, then Billing. |
| Time to Level up! — "Upgrade to get unlimited access and unlock more features." | Your plan doesn't include that network. | Press Upgrade to see the plans. |
| "Connecting an X account requires X posting credits. Purchase an X credit pack first." | You have no X credits. | Click your name at the bottom of the left menu, then Billing, and buy a pack under Add-ons. |
Questions#
Does each Pinterest board count as an account?
Yes. Each board you add is one social account.
Do accounts my team connects count toward my plan?
Yes. Every account in a workspace you own counts toward your plan, whoever connected it.
If I remove an account, can I connect a different one?
Yes. Removed accounts stop counting straight away.
I'm invited to a client's workspace. Do its accounts count toward my plan?
No. They count toward the plan of the person who owns that workspace.
What does fair use mean for unlimited plans?
From the pricing page: "Fair use: built for one business or agency and its own clients. Above 500 accounts or 50 workspaces we'll check in with you — never a surprise block. Each network's own limits still apply."
