How the trial works#
Your trial starts the moment you create your Heropost account, whether you sign up with email, Google or Facebook. It lasts 7 days. There's no card to enter, so nothing can be charged when it ends.
- Billing shows it as Unlimited trial: "Your free trial — pick a plan any time to keep going."
- Each account gets the trial once.
- People who join through a team invitation don't get a trial. They work in the owner's workspace, on the owner's plan.
As heropost.ai puts it: "Start free — no credit card needed. Try Hero_Agent, make your first photos with 10 free Hero_Photo credits and connect your AI tools before you choose a plan."

The scheduler is the same as on the top plan. The AI allowance is the one every plan includes: 30 AI actions, 300 Hero_Agent messages and 3 connected AI tools a month, plus 10 Hero_Photo credits once. An action is a created post or a sent inbox reply; reading, editing, scheduling and publishing are free. The Growth, Pro and Agency plans include more. See Plans compared and AI actions.
Make the most of seven days#
- Connect your social accounts and schedule a first post: Quickstart.
- Let Hero_Agent plan a week, keeping the batch inside your 30 actions: Let Hero_Agent plan your first week.
- Make a product photo or graphic with your 10 Hero_Photo credits: Hero_Photo.
- If you work with others, invite a teammate: Invite your team.
- If you use ChatGPT or Claude, connect it: Use Heropost from your AI tools.
- Choose a plan before day 7, so nothing pauses.
Emails about your trial#
Billing doesn't show a countdown. We email you three times:

Choose a plan during the trial#
- Click your name at the bottom of the left menu, then Billing.
- In the Plans section, press Get Growth, Get Pro or Get Agency. For yearly billing or a lifetime plan, press See all plans at the bottom instead.
- Pay on the secure payment page, then press Proceed.
The plan starts straight away and replaces the trial. Everything you set up during the trial stays. Prices are on heropost.ai/pricing and heropost.ai/lifetime.
When the trial ends#
If you haven't chosen a plan after 7 days:
- Nothing is charged and nothing is deleted. Your workspaces, social accounts, drafts and posts stay in your account.
- Heropost asks you to choose a plan. Pages open the plans page (Choose your plan), and a window titled Your Trial Has Ended appears once per session. Its button opens the plans page; Maybe Later closes it.
- Billing shows Free plan: "Limited features — upgrade any time." Billing, Profile settings and Hero_Photo stay open.
- Actions that need a plan show "Your account doesn't have an active plan. Please upgrade to use this feature."
- Hero_Agent answers "Hero_Agent chat isn't part of the plan on this workspace. Everything you've already created stays exactly as it is — open Billing to pick a plan and carry on here."
Choose a plan to keep scheduling and publishing.
If it doesn't work#

Questions#
Do I need a credit card for the trial?
No. The trial doesn't ask for a card.
Will I be charged when the trial ends?
No. There's no card on file, so nothing is charged. You only pay if you choose a plan.
Do I have to cancel anything?
No. The trial ends on its own. See Cancel a subscription if you later have a paid plan.
Is the trial the same as the Agency plan?
The scheduler part matches the top plan: no limit on accounts, workspaces, automations or team. The AI part is the allowance every plan includes: 30 AI actions, 300 Hero_Agent messages and 3 connected AI tools a month, plus 10 Hero_Photo credits once. The Agency plan includes unlimited actions (fair use) and 600 Hero_Photo credits a month.
I was invited to someone's team. Why don't I have a trial?
You don't need one. You work in their workspace on their plan, and your Billing page says "Your plan is provided by your workspace owner." To get your own workspaces and plan, press Get your own plan → there.
I bought a lifetime plan after my trial. When does the money-back guarantee start?
