- The post editor, explained
A tour of the post editor: the post list, the network tabs and the All tab, the account row, the preview, and the buttons that schedule and publish. Plus what each way into the editor opens. - Write once, then adjust it for each network
Write the caption, link, first comment and media once on the All tab, and every network uses them. When a network needs its own version, switch off Take … from the All tab on its tab and write it there. - Add photos and videos
Add photos and videos to a post from your computer or the Media Library, put them in order, set a video cover, crop or edit a photo, and fix the messages you get when a file doesn't fit a network. - Use the Media Library
The Media Library keeps every photo and video uploaded to a workspace. Upload files, find them by name or type, give videos a thumbnail, reuse them in posts, and delete what you no longer need. - Schedule, publish now, or save a draft
Every post starts as a draft and saves as you go. Pick a date and press Schedule All, or leave the date empty and press Publish All. Here's what each button does, what happens next, and why a post can refuse to schedule. - Edit, reschedule or delete a post
Change a draft at any time. For a scheduled post, press Edit: it goes back to Draft until you press Schedule All again, and published posts are locked, so duplicate them instead. - Repeat a post (Repost Settings)
Open the post's ⋮ menu → Repost Settings to make a draft or scheduled post go out again every few days, months or once a year, until a date you choose. Each time it publishes, Heropost schedules the next one. - Add a first comment
Heropost can post a comment right after your post goes out, from the same account: handy for hashtags, links or extra details. It works on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads and Bluesky, but not on Stories. - Caption Library, hashtags and spintax
Save captions and hashtag sets in the Caption Library and drop them into any post. Plus the caption toolbar, hashtag limits per network, and spintax, which gives each account a different version of your text. - Use posting groups
A posting group is a saved set of accounts, such as all of one client's profiles. Start a post from a group and its accounts are selected for you. Bulk upload uses a group too. - Bulk upload posts from a CSV
Import up to 100 posts at once from a spreadsheet saved as CSV. Each row becomes a draft for the accounts of a posting group; you then check and schedule the drafts. The exact columns, values and every error message. - Find your best times to post
Hero_Agent can show which days and hours worked best for your posts, from your own results. Ask it on Home, or from a connected AI tool, then pick your post times with that in mind. - Character limits and media specs for every network
One reference for all 12 networks: caption and first-comment limits, hashtag limits, and the photo and video types, sizes, lengths and counts the Heropost post editor accepts.
